There was no room at the Athena Inn, and now there is! I have to go out front and turn on the sign (or I would if we were at a “ location” and not virtual).
This is Gina, founder of Athena Executive Services. This week I thought I’d share with you from my seat. A few weeks ago we had no vacancies here. We had no bandwidth. I had no product to sell. What does that mean? All of our contract executive assistants were full. They had no bandwidth left. They each have one or two clients that they serve, and each client utilizes them 10 or 15 or 20 hours per week. We were full up. No vacancies here.
So I reach out to my networks (which I have to be careful about, because when I do just a light shaking of the bushes usually too much fruit falls out!). Sure enough great prospects come forth and ventured into my multi-phased vetting, interviewing and training process. Meanwhile, a client who I thought would be leaving us this week to bring on board a full time, in-office, executive assistant, is no longer doing that. A client who I thought would be continuing on with us, is no longer able to do so. Our newest contract executive assistant who came on board recently is now ready for a second client. All this in the last 10 days.
So NOW there IS Vacancy at the Athena Inn, and we DO have bandwidth and room for more clients!
